  • It had a 0.1% 1/1000 chance prior to the release of the Zen Event.
  • This also makes it the Prismatic pet with the lowest hatch/obtainment chance.
  • This pet is one of the rarest in the game, due to its low hatch rate. However, it was massively duped before the dupe patch, which many duped Kitsunes was forced into the economy. This however, did not affect the value of the pet.
• The Kitsune has ~1% chance to apply the Foxfire Chakra mutation when using its ability.
• The Kitsune has a very similar ability to the Raccoon, except it gives mutations.
• This pet is completely based on the Kitsune from Japanese Folklore, copying every detail.
  • In fact, the model of "Kitsune" has eight tails.
  • A Kitsune grows tails every century after reaching the age of 100 so this means the pet is over 800 years old.
• The Kitsune and its counterpart, the Corrupted Kitsune, share the same pet model.
• The Kitsune has a clipping issue in its model where the ends of their tails clip through the body of the tail. It is still reoccurring as of Part 3 of the Christmas Event.
• When combining the mutations of the Kitsune & Corrupted Kitsune, it can produce new mutations. Combining Chakra and Corrupted Chakra gives the fruit the Harmonized Chakra mutation. Combining Foxfire Chakra with Corrupted Foxfire Chakra gives the fruit the Harmonized Foxfire Chakra mutation. If a plant has both the Harmonized Chakra and the Harmonized Foxfire Chakra mutations, the plant is given the Ascended Chakra mutation.
